Why do I have to login?

In this day and age of Internet crime, there are unscrupulous people who set programmes to trawl the internet looking for sites with weak security.They can then use the information gathered in many ways all of which will cause someone somewhere some harm. We do not wish that to happen here. Therefore we require a secure login. In the coming months we will beef up the security of this login by use of things such as a Captcha image which stops these internet "robot" programmes getting into our site. We apologise if that means that the site is unaccessible at certain times due to upgrading, but we hope you will understand the necessity of these precautions. We will also try to keep disruption to a minimum. As you can seeI have now added the Captcha security.
