The 2010 Reunion was a resounding success. The numbers were down on previous years but we still managed about 130. The weather was good (again) and the location is a great venue because of the variety of entertainment on offer. It really is great value for money and the food is plentiful and lots of choice.
The atmosphere was absolutely brilliant, I like to enjoy myself but three nights with a lights out at after 2am was enough for me and I was glad to see my own bed at a reasonable time.
I don't know where some of you get the stamina to perform the way you do.
Thanks to all those that attended and the next one will be June 2012 so please give it some thought and if you can make it, please do, as the more the merrier.
My final comment is one of location, I have tried to find a venue further North but without success. Most hotels want a massive deposit up front which I am not prepared to pay. I think the holiday camp venue is priced reasonably and is a good choice. If you can come up with a better idea and alternative venue I will be pleased to hear about it and even do a recce but I think we will be hard pushed to better this one.
